#577 Solosis

Solosis is commonly believed to consist of purely a single cell, much like a bacterium yet of greater size. Its nucleus acts like a powerful brain and can unleash surprisingly strong psychic power. The cytoplasm surrounding it has mild regenerative properties and is a popular ingredient in many historical remedies originating from the Unova region.
Solosis can adapt to any given habitat but are seldom seen, they live a mostly solitary life as they do not rely on herd mentality or pack hunting to survive. When in contact with another, Solosis uses telepathy to communicate.

Their diet mostly consists of the Persim berry, however it can survive without it. The berry, which is a phenomenal absorbed of the suns energy, has a brighter colour when in direct sunlight and can pass on the energy from photosynthesis to any consumer, which in turn adds to Solosis's regenarative ability. A Solosis that maintains it's Persim diet is almost impervious to any attack that may cause confusion.

I have battled a trainer who only had a Solosis and found that it has the remarkable ability to perform an immensely powerful Future Sight, which is marvellous for  tricking an opponent. Once of a high enough level, It can use its cytoplasm as a Heal Block on opponents in a combative situation.

#664 Scatterbug

Scatterbug are a very unfortunate species since they are delicious for Bird type Pokemon. To combat this, when they are attacked, they spray out paralytic spores to defend themselves.

They can survive in almost any environment due to the spores that cover their body which allow them to regulate their temperature. This means that even if transported somewhere completely different, they can quickly adapt to their new surroundings.

These Pokemon are rather insignificant and hence I have not much information on them. However their evolution, Spewpa, and final evolution Vivillon are slightly more interesting.

#681 Aegislash

This Pokemon has a rather unusual ability to change forms during battle depending on the type of move it is using. When using offensive moves it will become Blade Form, however when using defensive moves it will become Shield Form. Each family of Aegislash has a unique shield, almost like a family crest.

Aegislash has been said to be able to detect the quality of leadership in a person and popular folk lore states that a person can only become king if they are singled out by a council of Aegislash.

Historically, many kings have had Aegislash due to their versatility and sheer power in combat. Aegislash is also the only known Pokemon to learn the move King's Shield. King's Shield is a defensive move that lowers the attack of any Pokemon attacking it.

Due to their unique Steel and Ghost typing,  Aegislash can easily command people and Pokemon alike, to do their bidding. This combination of types is very dangerous to any weak Pokemon.

#89 Muk

Muk is a wonder to behold. Its body is completely comprised of viscous sludge that is toxic to the touch, making it a very dangerous Pokemon to face either in the wild or under the control of a trainer. I have also come into contact with its Alolan variant which, despite its vibrant colours, is a Poison and Dark type Pokemon. The more common Muk is simply a Poison type.

The evolved form of Grimer, Muk is a living bio-hazard. It is possible to tell which direction a Muk has travelled in because in its wake, any plant it touches dies instantly. Even close proximity will cause any plant life to begin to wilt.

In towns which Muk can be found, warnings are issued to try to prevent human contact with the species as it can lead to severe sickness. In dirty, unkempt towns which litter is thrown into streets, you are likely to find a Muk or two.

They live on a diet of waste products and leftovers generated by both People and Pokemon. Their natural habitat is near heavily polluted bodies of water, factories and Industrial areas such as the Virbank complex or Castelia Sewers.

If you are feeling especially brave, you can attempt to harvest the black sludge from them. This item restores the heath of poison type Pokemon if held, or reduces the health of any other type. This is an amazing item to be combo'd with Fling.

#688 Binacle

During my travels, I embarked on a voyage on the infamous S.S. Sinnoh to Iron Smith Island. Upon the hull of this boat I found a multitude of Binacle. By studying them I learnt that if either of the heads gets into disagreement with the other, they separate and form a new Binacle with another head.

Binacle are never alone for long and always live in pairs. In battle they are counted as a single Pokemon when in fact, they are 2 separate creatures.

Their diet consists of seaweed found on the shoreline or hanging off of boats. Occasionally they mistake a Dragalge as food which can cause conflict.

To move, they stretch and contract, dragging their rocks along with them in bold hops. Unfortunately, since their rock is rather heavy, they cannot move very fast.

Due to their habitat, Binacle are Rock and Water type, therefore strong against each other in battle.

Many trainers keep Binacle as their evolution, Barbaracle, is very strong and versatile in battle.

#438 Bonsly

Often mistaken to be a Grass type Pokemon, Bonsly uses this misconception to his advantage. Actually a Rock type, they are weak to water yet many trainers avoid using any Water type move in fear of Bonsly retaliating with a Grass Move.

Bonsly is the Baby pre evolution of Sudowoodo, and evolves into it once it has learned the move mimic. Bonsly is alright at mimicry, with trainers and Pokemon often mistaking it for a Bonsai tree, yet will only evolve when it can mimic any species of tree without fail.

They have a habit of crying. This isn't out of sadness or want for attention, but to rid it's body of excess moisture. It prefers arid area's yet they have been found in gardens as well.

Since Bonsly are virtually babies, they don't fair well with solid foods and are much more confident if in the care of a capable trainer. These Pokemon require a lot of attention, much like a Bonsai tree.

It can only be hatched out of an egg if the Sudowoodo parents are under the influence of Rock incense.

This Pokemon has the lowest Special Attack stats of any Pokemon!

#239 Elekid

Elekid is the pre evolved form of Electabuzz. It is classed as a Baby Pokemon since the most common way of acquiring it is to hatch it from an egg.

During my stay in Goldenrod City, I noticed that whenever there was a thunderstorm, or an Electrical storm of any nature, the Elekid would come out and frolic around in the lightning strikes. The more violent the storm, the more the Elekid would enjoy themselves.

When an Elekid rotates its arms, it generates a small charge of electricity, however it cannot create a large current since it tired too quickly. A weak electrical charge passes through its 'horns' as well and if anyone was to put their hand between them, they would receive a light shock.

In the wild they live on grasslands and open expanses of land and absorb lightning as a source of energy. Although feeble in battle, a wild Elekid can be rather vicious if provoked.
